Producer based in NYC.
I read a fancy French word in a book - “débrouillard.” It translates literally to “defog,” but is most conventionally used to describe someone who is resourceful, the one you turn to in a scramble to get your head above water. I’m from Ohio, and there we just called it being scrappy.
As a producer, I take pride in wearing many hats and solving problems big and small. Being a production Swiss Army knife is my specialty; I’ve been a producer, an AD, a talent wrangler, a production manager, a production coordinator, a travel coordinator, a casting producer, a copywriter, a PA, and so much more - sometimes all on one job.
When I’m not producing commercial work (or cooking a NYT recipe, or seeing a movie at IFC, or cleaning my apartment, etc) I’m working on a sheep farming documentary :) You can look here for updates.

Breadwinners
Breadwinners is a collaboration between myself and Co-Creator, Co-Director, Editor, All-Around-Genius, Emily Delaney. It’s a vehicle for us to tell food stories, our very favorite kind. At the moment, we’re working on a sheep farming documentary :)
You can follow that progress here.
Breadwinners was also a five-part short docuseries released in 2023 that profiled food workers in New York. You can watch the full series here and the trailer here.
